Recycle Computers, Electronics and Appliances for No Cost
Plover, WI (June 8, 2017) – Cellcom is partnering with RecycleThatStuff.com to help the Plover community safely dispose of their unwanted electronics, computers and appliances. A free community recycling event will be held at the Cellcom store in Plover (152 Crossroads Dr.) on Friday, June 16 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Most household electronics and computer equipment can be dropped off without limitation or cost. Cellcom will pay the recycling fees for up to two of the following items: CRT monitors, televisions, mini refrigerators, AC units, microwaves, dehumidifiers and copy machines. Large refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers and dishwashers will not be accepted.
Cellcom has helped local communities recycle nearly 283,000 pounds of electronics at its free recycling events in the past two years and donated more than $61,200 to cover recycling fees.
RecycleThatStuff.com is an e-Cycle Wisconsin registered computer and electronics collector and recycler through the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
Cellcom is also hosting its annual customer appreciation celebration at its Plover store on June 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to stop down for free food, a chance to win prizes and special offers from Cellcom.
