(December 15, 2016) - Mark Naze, Nsight CFO & treasurer, has been named the recipient of the 2016 NWTC Distinguished Alumni Award. The award recognizes a former Northeast Wisconsin Technical College student who has followed a path of excellence after graduating. The NWTC Alumni Association selected Mark for his individual accomplishments and strong community involvement.
“Mark is an outstanding example of what NWTC has to offer,” said Karen Smits, NWTC vice president of advancement. “His achievements and dedication to the community prove that a technical college education is a foundation for success.”
Mark graduated from the accounting program at NWTC in 1982. He went on to get his bachelor’s degree from St. Norbert College and joined Nsight in 1984 as an accountant for what was then Northeast Telephone Company. Mark has played an integral role in the company’s immense growth over the last 30 years, and led numerous acquisitions and launches.
Mark credits his education at NWTC for giving him the foundation for his successful career. When he wasn’t sure what type of schooling to pursue after high school, the technical college provided him an economical opportunity to explore his options and find a field that he enjoyed. NWTC currently sees more than 2,000 graduates each year, putting Mark in a very elite group of alumni.
“There have been so many graduates from NWTC over the years, and so many people doing so many great things with their degrees, I am truly honored and humbled to be chosen for this award,” Mark said.
