Area Schools to Compete for School Technology

Project Innovate, Cellcom’s community voting challenge, kicks off on Monday, November 1. Four area schools will compete for three cash prizes totaling $50,000, to be used exclusively for the purchase of classroom technology.

Columbus Catholic High School, Chas. F. Fernandez Center for Alternative Learning, Marshfield High School and Pacelli High School will all participate in Project Innovate. The school with the most votes at the end of November will be awarded the $30,000 grand prize. The first prize winner will receive $15,000 and second prize is $5,000.

Cellcom believes that providing teachers and students with the latest technological tools will inspire innovation, enhance learning and increase academic achievement.

To cast a vote, go to Cellcom.com and click on ‘Project Innovate’. Anyone age 13 and up is eligible to vote, regardless of location. Each individual can vote one time and an email address is required to vote. Cellcom will notify winners on December 8.
