E-mail Print PDF

Glas, the green coffeehouse is kicking-off October with a change to winter hours, the introduction of new drink specials and a new music night.

Winter hours run from October 1 through April 30. Glas will be open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

With the crisp fall weather settled-in, Glas has added several drinks to their menu for the season including a Pumpkin Pie Latte – latte flavored with pumpkin sauce and topped with homemade whip cream, Apple Pie Chai – brewed, loose-leaf chai with apple pieces sweetened with Door County Honey, and Hot Apple Cider – fresh Door County apple cider warmed and steeped with mulling spices.

Starting Wednesday, October 13, Glas is kicking off a Mid-week Open Mic from 7-10 p.m. Elliot Goettelman will emcee the evenings, which will run every Wednesday through November.

Glas, the green coffeehouse, is a venture for Cellcom, a wireless company based in Green Bay. Centrally located in the city of Sturgeon Bay, Glas offers a panoramic view of the beautiful waters surrounding Door County. Glas and its building feature various green elements in effort to reduce stress on the environment. The coffeehouse provides quality coffee, loose-leaf tea, espresso drinks, food items, live music on select days and free Wi-Fi Internet service.
