Sturgeon Bay, WI – United Way of Door County is displaying their photography exhibit entitled “The Other Side the Door” at Glas, the green coffeehouse during the month of July. The exhibit is the result of 2007 program which distributed 50 disposable cameras to funded partners of the United Way. People were asked to take pictures of a day in the life of a Door County resident who benefits from a program that the United Way of Door County funds. Twenty-five of the best photos were chosen, enlarged and framed for this exhibit.

“The ‘Other Side of the Door’ aims to educate residents and visitors about the true Door County,” said Christine Salmon, Community Relations Director at United Way of Door County. “We are known as a county for many reasons – the natural beauty, the delicious food, the comfortable resorts, the quality of our arts – but none of these could exist without our people. The United Way of Door County exists to provide support to our people.”
