Pulaski, WI - Nsight Telservices is proud to announce that Pulaski High School graduate Jennifer J. Oxely is the recipient of a 2010 Wisconsin State Telecommunications Foundation scholarship.
Oxely is one of 33 high school students throughout Wisconsin to receive telecommunications scholarships worth $1,500 each. Nsight Telservices submitted Oxely’s name, and she was one of 90 applicants for the scholarship funds.
The foundation is part of the Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association (WSTA), a trade organization representing 62 telephone companies and cooperatives in Wisconsin. In addition to the 33 scholarships to graduating high school students, the foundation awarded six $750 scholarships to first-year students enrolled in the Electronics Communications Program at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College and two $500 scholarships to high school graduates attending a technical college.
Selections are based on financial need, academic achievements and extra-curricular activities. Since 1966, the foundation has awarded more than $1,108,700 to 891 students.
