On March 10, 1910, a group of Pulaski business people met at the local drug store to discuss providing telephone service to their growing community. From that meeting, the Pulaski Merchants and Farmers Telephone Company formed.

The Riordan’s tenure in the company began in 1923, when Daniel E. Riordan was elected to the Board of Directors.

In the period between 1956 and 1960, dial telephone service was established for the Krakow, Mill Center and Pulaski exchanges. In 1965, the company acquired the Oneida Telephone Company. Three years later Pulaski Merchants and Farmers Telephone Company name changed to Northeast Telephone Company to account for the expanded service area.

In 1975, Northeast Telephone Company hired Patrick D. Riordan, current CEO and President of Nsight, as General Manager. In 1977 his brother, Robert H. Riordan, current Executive Vice President, was hired.

In 1982, Northeast Communications of Wisconsin, Inc. was formed as a holding company and Northeast Telephone Company became a subsidiary. That same year, NET Cable was added to the company as a subsidiary and still provides cable television for the village of Pulaski.

In 1987, the company entered the wireless industry with its subsidiary Cellcom. In 1994, NetNet was formed in response to a request by the Pulaski school district to provide Internet service. In 1997, Northeast Communications of Wisconsin, Inc. formed Nsight Long Distance and Local Nsight as subsidiaries to provide long distance service to residents and businesses. In this same year, the company built two self-healing fiber optic rings around Green Bay to provide broadband service.

In 1999, Northeast Communications of Wisconsin, Inc. began doing business as Nsight. Soon after that, Nsight acquired St. Paul Tower for tower erection and maintenance. In 2001, Northeast Telephone and NetNet began providing DSL internet service to residential and business customers.

In September 2007, Nsight acquired Bayland Telephone in Abrams. In June 2008, Nsight’s subsidiaries, Northeast Telephone Company, NetNet, Nsight Long Distance, Local Nsight and NET Cable, were all renamed and currently operate as Nsight Telservices.

Throughout the years Nsight has been very involved in community activities and efforts which enrich the lives of residents and customers. In 2009, Cellcom Green Bay Marathon was raised over $70,000 dollars for charities in the Green Bay area. In its 10-year history, the marathon has given $320,000 back to the community.
